A good result for the final game of the season which should see Darley Dale promoted to Division 1 next year. Once again Cindy Baker and Catriona Rayner won all their games making them undefeated for the whole of the season. Also well played to Bridget Ankers and Rebecca Swindell who won all their games and Gina Knowles and Clare Waters who won two of their games. Comment: Bridget Ankers

04/03/10 - Darley Dale 7 v Wirksworth 2

A hard fought match which may turn out to be the decider for promotion. Unfortunately Wirksworth only had 2 pairs on the evening. Cindy Baker and Catriona Rayner once again won all their games. Bridget Ankers and Rebecca Swindell won both their games having been taken to 'best of 3' by both pairs. Gina Knowles and Clare Waters were unlucky not to take a point. They also took 1 pair to 'best of 3' but were beaten in the third game 23 - 21. Comment: Bridget Ankers

Good result in Alfreton B’s final game of the season. Well played Ann Wilson and Jane Scott and Eileen Grifin and Jan Broughton taking 3 for the away side. Ann Tipple and Elaine Price and Mandy Harris and Dawn Major picked up a rubber apiece for Newembers. Comment: Paul Holmes
